A new band… with some old hands. The Road is a newly formed ensemble based in Cork. Among its four members are a trio of veterans and a prodigy.
Freddie White
Electric Guitar and Vocals
Well known to audiences up and down the country (and even other countries) for his solo acoustic work, Freddie has once more dusted off his Rock ‘n Roll credentials to see if he can still string together a few licks – albeit this time from a seated position.

Pat Crowley
Keyboards and Vocals
Pat describes himself as an electrician and part–time musician. But for someone who has spent the past twenty- something years touring the world as the lynchpin of The Mary Black Band, where did he find the time for all that wiring?

Noel Barrett
Bass
Noel is a much sought after live and session player. A master (literally) of the bass guitar, he has toured with many – including The Sinead Lohan Band.
Peter Crowley
Drums and Percussion
You guessed it.. Peter is Pat’s son and is a real chip off the old musical block. He’s been plucked from a very promising career playing with various young bands in Cork to prop up these old geezers with the sticks.
